Important Notice

By proceeding with a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Welcome to SafariTanzania.com. By booking a safari or tour with us, you agree to these terms and conditions.

1. Booking and Payment

1.1 Deposits

A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total safari cost is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due 60 days before your safari start date.

1.2 Payment Methods

We accept payment via bank transfer, credit card, or PayPal. All payments must be in USD.

1.3 Payment Schedule

  • Deposit: 30% at time of booking
  • Final payment: 70% due 60 days before departure
  • Late bookings (within 60 days): Full payment required

    2. Cancellations and Refunds

    2.1 Cancellation by Client

  • More than 60 days before departure: Deposit forfeited
  • 30-60 days before departure: 50% of total cost forfeited
  • Less than 30 days before departure: 100% of total cost forfeited

    2.2 Cancellation by SafariTanzania.com

  • In the unlikely event we cancel your safari, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

    3. Travel Insurance

    We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellation, lost luggage, and emergency evacuation.

    ## 4. Health and Safety

    4.1 Medical Requirements

    Travelers should consult their doctor about required vaccinations and malaria prophylaxis before traveling to Tanzania.

    4.2 Fitness Level

    Some safaris and all Kilimanjaro climbs require a certain level of physical fitness. Please inform us of any medical conditions.

    4.3 Safety Guidelines

    Clients must follow all safety instructions provided by guides. SafariTanzania.com is not liable for injuries resulting from failure to follow safety guidelines.

    5. Visa and Documentation

    Clients are responsible for obtaining the necessary visa and travel documents for entry into Tanzania.

    ## 6. Liability

    6.1 Our Responsibility

    We take all reasonable care to ensure your safety but cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, political unrest, or wildlife encounters.

    6.2 Personal Belongings

    We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings during your safari.

    7. Itinerary Changes

    We reserve the right to modify itineraries due to weather, road conditions, wildlife movements, or other unforeseen circumstances. Such changes do not entitle clients to refunds.

    ## 8. Group Size

    Safari groups are typically 4-6 people. We reserve the right to combine bookings to form economical group sizes.

    ## 9. Children

    Children under 5 years are generally not permitted on safari for safety reasons. Age restrictions may vary by safari type.

    ## 10. Photography

    Clients grant SafariTanzania.com the right to use photographs taken during safaris for marketing purposes unless explicitly requested otherwise.

    ## 11. Complaints

    Any complaints should be reported to your guide immediately. If unresolved, contact us within 14 days of your safari end date.

    ## 12. Governing Law

    These terms are governed by the laws of Tanzania.
